Gun rights are under attack in every state and at every level of government.
We know that President Biden and Mom's Demand Action radicals are hell-bent on eliminating gun rights in our country.
Its worse than that.
Republicans are caving on gun rights at break neck speeds.
- Senator Joni Ernst voted for the federal gun criminalization bill, which expanded background checks, funded red-flag gun confiscation programs and banned those convicted of certain misdemeanors from purchasing firearms.
- Governor Larry Hogan signed into law a red flag gun confiscation bill that resulted in the death of Maryland man.
- 350 Members of Congress voted for a National Defense Authorization, which includes a so-called "safe storage" gun control provision.
Sneaking gun control into a military funding bill - and 176 "pro-gun" Republicans voted for it.
If we don't act now, there will be no 2nd amendment to pass on to the next generation.
Fortunately, many states are adopting the "Second Amendment Preservation Act." Here is what SAPA does:
- Prohibits state funding and implementation of gun control.
- Creates protections against federal restrictions,
registration, regulations, bans and seizure of firearms,
accessories, and ammunition. - Penalizes government
agencies for violating gun rights.
With our elected "leaders" selling out gun rights at every level of government, it is time to take action.
Iowa Republicans considered the Second Amendment Preservation Act in 2022 but did not move the bill.
I

disappointed that despite Republican majorities in Iowa we have not passed SAPA into law. I am writing you to demand that you support the Second Amendment Preservation Act.
Gun rights are under attack at every level or government. We must pass the Second Amendment Preservation Act in 2023! Please support this legislation!
