As Speaker, your responsibilities include appointing committee assignments such as House Education Chair Yamomoto. However, she blocked Senate Bill 1038 from making it through the House last session. The bill would have supported school choice for every Idaho family.

You can not say that you support school choice if you appoint bad actors on powerful committees. Please reverse course immediately and remove Julie Yamamoto as the chair of the Education Committee and appoint a chairman that will pass strong School Choice legislation.

There is no time for games when woke ideologies are invading Idaho public school curriculums and education standards are plummeting. More than ever before, Idaho parents are searching for better ways to educate their children.

The government-owned education system has failed kids, perpetrates generational mediocrity, and increases costs.

This government monopoly must be broken up and a free market system in education must flourish.

To accomplish this, parents should have access to their tax dollars and the freedom to put their kids in the schools they trust.

Unfortunately last year, the Idaho State House Education Chair killed the universal school choice bill and this year they plan to do it again, unless they hear from you!
